Are there more categories and sub-categories? Is there a way to add a link to a TA or CC?

Categories should be enhanced, same goes for sub-categories.

More categories and sub-categories can be added, but unlike tags they must be defined by an admin. I just have not added more for this small test system.
Regarding your other questions: Do you want to link to a CC as part of the category description? Out of the box, it is just plain text, so no. But I need to have a look at this if this can be changed.

Thanks a lot. We should definetly think about (sub-)categories.

To the other thing: I don't think we would need linked category descriptions. Yet i ask myself how one can tag, call , or somehow link a CC or Task area or specific person. Especially when the poster is not aware of these categories but the commenting users by NFDI4Ing are and wand to send a heads up to another member who would be capable of answering the question
like @ddemuth for example (which obviously does not work)

I agree, user mentions is a useful feature, thanks for bringing this up. There is a paid plugin that would provide this functionality but I have to test it yet.
